Collection Agency Board
The Collection Agency Board is proposing to amend Section 3 of Chapter 1 of the Rules and Regulations of the Board.
Following is a description of the proposed rules.
The proposed rules decrease the collection agency annual license renewal fee from $300.00 to $150.00.
W.S. 33-11-110(a) states all fees shall be
established in accordance with W.S. 33-1-201. Per W.S. 33-1-201,
revenues generated from license fees are to approximate but not exceed the
direct and indirect costs of administering
the regulatory provisions required for the profession under Title 33.
These rules are promulgated pursuant to the authority provided in Wyoming Statutes 33-11-106 and 33-11-110.
The notice of intent to adopt rules and regulations will be published in the Cheyenne Tribune-Eagle and the Casper Star Tribune newspapers on January 12, 2012.
