Board Members

Within the Division of Banking in the Department of Audit is the Collection Agency Board. The Board consists of three members appointed by the Governor. The purpose of the Board is to approve or disapprove applications for collection agency licenses. The Board investigates the qualifications of the applicant to ascertain that all criteria for approval as stated in W.S. 33-11-105 and 33-11-107, have been met. Complaints made against Wyoming collection agencies are filed with the Board which investigates complaints and the conduct of any licensee.
